Conversational Indonesian moves at about three words a second. Forty words forced into ten seconds sounds rushed, and the lip sync gives up.

Lanes

Who is heard decides how many shots fit.

A mouth seen speaking has to be lip synced, and that is the hardest thing a video model does. Every shot that shows one costs you a shot elsewhere. That is the whole logic.

Talking

2 to 3 shots

She talks to camera the whole way. Fewest shots, strongest for building trust.

Best for: opinions, comparisons, anything where trust is the sale.

Hybrid

3 to 4 shots

The first and last line on camera, a voice over carrying the middle. A face buys the first second, the voice over fits more words than a lip synced take could, a face closes it.

Best for: most products, most of the time.

VO montage

4 to 5 shots

Nobody is seen speaking, so it can cut freely and hold the most shots.

Best for: products that have to be seen from several sides to be understood.

cuplik suggests which lane suits the angle you picked and explains why in plain language. You can override it at any point.

Checks

Caught before your credits are spent.

Twelve checks run every time you edit. The red ones hold the render button and name the fix rather than just the fault.

This is not taste. Each check maps to a way generated video genuinely fails.

  • A line over its shot’s word budget. It sounds rushed and the mouth drifts.
  • One hand half inside the frame. The commonest cause of six fingers.
  • Fingers manipulating the product. Forces the model to invent motion it has no reference for.
  • A voice over on a shot where the mouth is seen speaking. This is what makes AI ads look broken.
  • A line that reads as a testimonial or a results claim. That one can cost your affiliate account, not just one render.
  • Two actions in one shot, or the camera moving while the subject acts. Flagged, not blocked.
Variation

Not the same video again.

The person, the clothes, the room, the light, the camera and the delivery are rolled from about 201,600 combinations, steered by the buyer in the brief.

A product whose brief says young mothers will not be cast with a student. Every field is editable in Advanced mode, and Re-roll moves all six at once.

You know the cost before you press the button

After your first render at a setting, cuplik reads back what it actually cost and uses that figure rather than a guess. Your balance and a top-up link sit directly under the render button.

If your balance will not cover the setting you picked, the panel says so before you try.

Questions people ask

Is it really free?

Yes. The extension is free, there is no subscription, no cuplik account, and nothing is locked behind a tier. What costs money is the render at your chosen video provider, paid directly to them.

Which model is cheapest?

Omni Flash on Snapgen, 15 credits for ten seconds. Seedance 2.5 Omni sits at the other end, 830 credits for the same length. Start cheap and move up only when you need to.

Why bring my own API key?

Because cuplik has no server. Your key stays on your machine and talks straight to the provider you chose, so nothing passes through Upgraded. It is also what lets the extension be free with no usage cap.

What happens to my data?

The product page is only read when you press the button, and cuplik runs on no other site. No analytics, no tracking, no usage reporting. The privacy policy has the detail.

Can hands still come out wrong?

Yes. Hands are the hardest thing for a video model and no tool makes them perfect. What cuplik does is remove the asks that guarantee failure, like one hand half in frame or fingers working a small object. The VO montage lane carries the least risk because the product is shown without anyone holding it.

Does it work on marketplaces other than Shopee?

Not yet. Only shopee.co.id for now. That is deliberate: page reading has to be tuned per site, and one site working properly beats four half working.

I am a complete beginner. Can I use it?

Yes, and the free class exists for exactly that. The step that stops most people is opening a provider account and copying the API key, so that is covered first.
